"This is a one of a kind hotel. I mean, who can say they have stayed in a castle. The rooms are really well done and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The food at the onsite restaurant was really good. Only negative of this hotel is that they don't have either a pool or a gym. Not much to do if you want to spend some time lazing around."

We went as a family with 2 teenagers and as the place is for rest and relaxation we still had a great family time. The cabin needed to be maintained as a few things were broken. "It was our family's second time at ANEW RESORT Hunters Rest, and it outdid the first time which was great! Again, we had a family birthday being celebrated, and we were greeted by Thabang at reception with a message from the staff. That was followed by a cake and a written greeting card upon arrival at our accommodation, which had been generously upgraded much to our great pleasure and comfort. We had an enjoyable weekend and the pool was a main hangout for our children. We appreciated the coureous service in all respects - reception, dining, etc. and some names come to mind - Thabang, Tshego (reception), Boibelo, Dimakaso and Chris (dining) - of course we can't forget to Big Up GM Stephan (whose guiding hand we are sure was at work - we hope to see him next time we visit).
