"Non-working escalators, not being aware of having to book the shuttle (had to pay for a Grab vehicle), poor signage at the airport which would easily indicate that the hotel is walkable - outdated brown wicker furniture - Terrible —- room assigned had been previously used - had to return to desk to get a different room."

"Me and my wife stayed at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel for five nights and had a genuinely pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, everything worked properly, and the AC was a lifesaver in the May heat. Check‑in was smooth, and we were even allowed to check in early. The staff were consistently warm and attentive. The resort has three restaurants/bars, all serving great food with plenty of local Cebu dishes. If you can, choose the breakfast option — the morning buffet is worth it. The beach is one of the nicest in the area, with clean white sand and calm water. There are lots of water activities available, including boat rides and island‑hopping. Highly recommend the coral reef snorkel dive tour. The pools are well maintained, and the on‑site spa was another highlight with good pricing and skilled masseuses. Another plus is the location. The resort is close to local nightlife spots, so there’s plenty to do outside the property if you want to explore. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and left with great memories. We’re already looking forward to coming back."
