Habitación en un piso
Personalmente, esta habitación la alquilé únicamente para estar allí para dormir. Se trata de un piso en una muy buena localización (a 2 minutos del metro de Noviciado) en el que alquilan diferentes habitaciones. La habitación doble tenía una cama doble y una cama pequeña, una nevera, una televisión (sin mando para nuestra habitación) y una ventana grande. El recibimiento fue muy agradable y atento. Durante la noche se escuchan muchos ruidos de la calle (teniendo en cuenta que era durante la semana no esperaba eso) y del propio piso, por lo que descansar, no descansamos mucho.

Hotel que mas bien es un hostal muy reducido
El que el hotel tenga baños compartidos nos causo un gran inconveniente, al punto de reducir nuestra estancia programada en el hotel y de cancelar una reservación que teníamos programada para días posteriores a nuestro regreso de visitar otras ciudades de España. En general el hotel es pequeño, de pocos cuantos y muy pequeños.

Bråkete, lytt, skittent, uten toalett, bad.
Et horibelt opphold. Bildet på websiden er ikke represenativt for opphold på rom nr1. Svært enkelt rom, uten steder å legge fra seg eller sette fra seg noe, Ikke eget bad/toalett, Fellesbadet gikk tom for varmtvann, toalettpapir. Svært lytt ut I gangen, som var trafikert hele tiden, forde resepsjonen var èn meter fra døra, traffikert døgnet rundt. Eneste måten å få luft på var å opne dør ut mot gaten. Veldig mye støy døgnet rundt, følte at jeg bode på gata. Hotellet drev med reparasjon av ett eller annet rett utenfor døra vår som tydeligvis best kunne fikses med slagbor. Det var ikke rent på rommet, hybelkaniner, hår fra tidligere gjester.

LOCKED IN!
Where to start? Whole place smelt of old cigarettes. No toilet paper. Power sockets that don't work. And that's the good stuff about this dump! Unhelpful staff told us to leave our room key in our door for checkout. Only problem with that is that the building entrance was locked and we couldn't get out of the building, after 20 mins of knocking on doors we finally got out. But this resulted in us having to taxi instead of train to catch our bus to Sevilla only to miss it and have to buy 2 more tickets. All up this unhelpful specific instruction has set us back €80!

Bed & Breakfast without the breakfast...
Bed & Breakfast without the breakfast...and not a very good bed. Only HOT water in the shower in the room. Much waiting to use shared bathroom. No name on doorbell. Doorbell was ringing at all times because staff was only present 11-18. Was kept waiting 1 hour outside when checking in at 19.00 after having called staff on a cellphone. AC not working. But area is very good.

Solo me gustó la ubicación.
La limpieza es mediocre, no hay letrero, es necesario llamar por teléfono una vez en el portal y esperar hasta que te vengan a abrir la puerta, el piso y el servicio huelen a cloaca y el baño es para todos los huéspedes por lo que hay que hacer cola, lo único positivo es la ubicación y la amabilidad de quien me recibió. No lo recomiendo y no repetiría.

Complicado encontrar la dirección, aunque al momento de encontrar el departamento estaba bien, sin lujos pero si con todo lo necesario. Lo malo fue que nos pedían desalojar 20 min antes, otra cosa mala fue que las camas estaban algo desgastadas. Lo bueno es el tamaño, cuenta con electrodomésticos sarten platos vasos etc, además de jabón artículos de limpieza etc. hasta plancha y cobija extra. Como dije previamente está todo lo necesario aunque no sea de primera calidad.

Excellent value for money!
very nice private room with good location. Slightly noisy from the street, but very good location in downtown madrid. Strange smell in the hallways, but nevertheless, very good value for money.

The hotel was in a very good area, close to all the hype. The ground floor of the building smelled like sewage which somehow got into the 1st floor (where the hotel is). Bed was un even which made it uncomfortable.

לא להתקרב לאכסניה הזאת בשום מחיר !!!!!!!!!!!!!
מחריד !. ברחנו לאחר 10 דקות ! אין לי שום מילה חיובית על ה"מלון" הזה מלבד העובדה שאני מרגיש ממש מרומה מאד בעצם בחירתי במלון זה. זה מתחיל בכך שהגענו לכתובת הרשומה של המלון. לא היה שם זכר למלון. לאחר כשעה של ניסיונות בטלפון נענינו שיש פקידה בדרך. היא הגיעה כעבור כ30 דקות, הותירה את אשתי על המדרכה בגשם והעלתה אותי ל"קבלה" שהיא חדר פיצפון בבנין מגורים בו מוצבים מחשב, טלפון ופקס. גבתה את התשלום וירדנו יחד למדרכה שם המתינו 2 גברתנים רומנים אשר אינם דוברים אנגלית או ספרדית רק רומנית. ועתה החל מסע עם 4 מזוודות לשם מציאת חדר פנוי. עלינו וירדנו במספר בניינים בני 4 קומות ללא מעלית ובכל מקום הסתבר שכל הכוכים תפוסים

You pay for what you get!!. Hotel Location great, and the room was ok for 1 night. The bathroom needs urgent attention, we had to clean the plug hole before using as it was blocked up!!!!. Staff need a customer service course. The checkout system needs reviewing, would have been helpful for staff to have been in the hotel at somepoint during our stay. Checkout by 11am, leave your key in the room and shut hotel door behind you, didnt tell us we had to have the key to get out of front door. On phoning, to be let out, we had a tight travel schedule, we were told they would come over after shower and breakfast!!!!!!!. We paid using cash, they had no change, will give it to you in morning, o still no change, so they made a good tip which they did not deserve. The gentleman was intimidating and rude. Would NOT use it again.

Nice location.Close to all major attractions
Reached there close to midnight. Very pleasant young man at the check in counter. If you are coming from Sabiha Bocken Airport, ask the bus operator for a bus that can drop you off close to the Blue Mosque. The bus operator did not recognize the hotel address and dropped me off at Tahrir square. Had to take a taxi from there to the hotel for an extra 20 Lira. This hostel is close to all major tourist attractions. Do not shop at any store in the grand bazaar or outside without comparing prices and negotiating.

Bra värde för pengarna! Bra läge precis intill Madrids största gata Grand Via. Svårt att hitta då det inte sitter någon skylt uppe och numreringen inte är helt logisk. Hotell sterling kan användas som referenspunkt då det ligger mittemot. Ac på de flesta rum men vi tog ett utan för att få fönster ut mot gatan. Har man inga större krav och vill uppleva Madrid istället för att ligga på rummet är detta ett perfekt boende, om man vill ha bekvämligheter sök något annat!

ホテル周辺に限らず、悪いという印象はありませんでした。 この旅、初の共同バス／トイレでしたが、シャワールームの排水が悪かったこと、トイレットペーパーが切れていたことはありましたが、通りに面した部屋で明るく、居心地は良かったです。 ただ、初日の夜の11～12時頃までチャイムやノックが続き、結果的に宿泊者かスタッフの知り合いだったようですが、中々寝付けませんでした。

The rooms were very convenient to the main drags of Madrid, but very simple. We did not get the rooms we booked, but something nearby, which was fine. Sheets not the cleanest, but otherwise fine for the price we paid.

Pas de bouilloire ou autre objet pour cuisiner un peu ...

Not The Best
The hotel had a good location, just off the main street Calle Gran Via. However, the staff was extremely rude. There is no formal check in or check out process. Although it says "non smoking", the owners/workers are walking around the hallway smoking all the time. They yell and talk loud at early hours when they are cleaning and wake up all of the guests. The bathroom smelled horrible. Overall, not a great experience.

We arrived with our very heavy bags at the adress that is mentioned in the Internet. But there was only the office and we had to go with a very unfriendly and arrogant women about 1km with our heavy bags through the cities of Madrid! The bathroom was a shared one with 2 other rooms. It wasn't clean at none of the days of our stay. The only good thing to say about Babel guesthouse is that they have a kitchen in theapartment. Guests from Germany

Bad start
It started badly. We got there quite early and sat outside their office waiting for our room or some sort of information. The one guy who worked there, kept looking at my friend in a creepy way, making her feel really uncomfortable. After half an hour of waiting we were taken to the guesthouse where our room was. It was ok. The shower was small, and there was little power in the shower head, and there was no air conditioning, so we woke up at 5 am not being able to sleep because of the heat. Having said this, everything was clean, and it was quite cheap, so I would recommend it to anyone who just wants a nice bed close to the center.

Interesting situation
We went to the address and were escorted to a different apt complex. Good location, clean, secure! There were three rooms: ours had two double beds so we were comfortable. No orientation to the building! The location was central but a lot of night time activity on the street!!! We also were kept awake by the extra curricular activity prone of our suite mates. Not a good situation!!! Cancelled follow upresetvations for this reason!

close to the center
The hotel is very close to the center and near the metro station, Conditions: fridge, Tv set and air condition i the room, shared bathroom. The very competitive price. Ideal option to spend a few days in Madrit. I recommend :)

in the heart of historical district....
the hotel reservation was not properly done and the location is hard to find , it is like an apt building and u stay there.. Luciano is the kindest man and he sure knows how to make u feel at home..he does go out of his way to make sure u have the nicest and most pleasant stay... all i have to say is next time i travel to madrid i will book here !!

A TENER EN CUENTA
La ubicacion esta en pleno Centro de Madrid, cerca de todos los sitios de interes para el turista, Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, Catedral, Palacio real, Centro Comerciales com El Corte Ingles, Etc....., todo se puede realizar a Pie, e inclusive hasta la Estacion de Atocha que es lo que esta un poco mas retirado ( unas doce cuadras +/-). La atencion EN EL ALOJAMIENTO es EXCELENTE, lo unico quer se debe saber ( ya que en la pagina de Hoteles.con NO lo decia), es que las habitaciones son pequeñas, no tiene Placares, y EL BAÑO ES A COMPARTIR entre 3 habitaciones, lo que no quita que siempre se encuentra Limpio y Muy Bien equipado, lo mismo que la cocina.-

Babel Guesthouse, Madrid - convenient, well-priced
I enjoyed my stay at Babel Guesthouse in Madrid - I was just looking for somewhere conveniently located and inexpensive and this provided both. The room wasn't huge, but was big enough for two. The location was really good, near Plaza de España and only 10-15 minutes walk from the very centre - we spent the whole weekend walking around the city, and only needed to take the metro to get from the airport and back, and although we are keen on walking around cities I would definitely count this as a central hotel. The area felt safe and was well-lit, and Madrid is buzzing at night, so there are always plenty of people about. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and there is access to a small kitchen where you can make tea, coffee etc on the hob (there was also a microwave, but we didn't use it). The only downside is the shared bathroom - we sometimes had to wait a little bit to use it, as there were about 8 people sharing it in the guesthouse, but it was spacious and clean. We had our own set of keys to the building, flat and our specific room, so we could come and go as we pleased, and there was a member of staff there from about 11am to 11pm, I think. I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again were I to return to Madrid.

Il solo problema è stato trovarlo, non è segnalato. Per chi non ha grande pretese (bagno in comune) è perfetto: molto centrale, Luciano (il proprietario) è gentilissimo.
