"Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terraceā€¦"

"Angelo D'Oro is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Rovinj's beautiful Old Town. Its biggest advantage is the locationā€”nestled among the charming narrow streets and just a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The rooms are finished to a very high standard, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, including assisting us with changes to our reservation without any issues. The only minor drawback is that there is no lift to the fourth-floor attic rooms, so be prepared for a few flights of stairs if you're staying at the top of the hotel. Parking is located a little way from the hotel, but the hotel provides a convenient golf cart service to and from the parking area on request, which made the process very easy. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily recommend Angelo D'Oro to anyone looking for a characterful, high-quality hotel in the perfect location to explore Rovinj."
