The Stone Bridge crosses over Bull Run near the Manassas Battlefield. During the first major battle of the Civil War, the original bridge was destroyed. However, it was rebuilt and is now a historic landmark with hiking trails through out.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, a great spot to visit any time of the year to witness eagles soaring or other animals and birds of the Virginia countryside.

I booked a Global Luxury Suites hotel via hotels.com, only to find it was actually the Skymark building, owned by Churchill. I opted to pay upon arrival, yet my card was charged in full 7-10 days before my stay without any explanation. Attempts to resolve this with hotels.com failed; they couldn't contact the company.
