"Property was excellently located across from the main train station. Property lobby was modern with a twist of old. Plenty of shopping around and very close to the Duomo short walk. Centrally located to everything. The hotel itself is very old when you get off your floor. It's very dark rooms are old with old furniture. We had to move our room because the toilet didn't work at first then the shower wouldn't drain, but we moved to a better room on the second floor with a brighter shower tub. There are no USB outlets you have to bring a converter which most of the time did not steadily stay in the plug. There must've been hundreds of rooms. They definitely need updating staff was great. The rooftop was a big draw, although Monday through Friday, there is construction, so you can't really go on the rooftop unless you wanna hear drilling. My son had his welcoming party there on a Saturday thank God. Also breakfast was great. No Pool, or gym . Which my husband was pretty upset about, but you can get a day pass at a local gym, but honestly with all the walking we did I really didn't think he needed it. Overall, for the money, I would say the best thing about this hotel was the location other than that next time I think I would prefer a more modern hotel."

"We were upgraded to the Hotel Della Calza SPA. This turned out to be a fantastic place to end a long hot day. The SPA ameneties were part of the package and it was truly a big benefit for recovering from the walking and bustle of all the crowds."

"Property is very nice and close to things. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We book last minute and were treated to a suite upgrade. The only issue was no WiFi in the rooms, but they did have hot spots in the hotel common areas."

"Nice relaxing oasis around 10 - 15 minute walk to the central parts of Florence. Convenient to have a Carrefour 2 blocks away so that you can buy some food supplies to cook / prepare meals in the appartment The apartments are very well kept and we appreciated the room upgrade which made the trip that bit more special Would highly recommend staying again as the quality of the rooms are high and there was a calm ambience whenever we returned to the property There are 4 washer and 4 tumble dryers along with 2 commercial irons so that you can do your laundry if you are staying longer term. There is fabric softener and washing solution provided in the laundry room but it's a first come first serve basis so you have to try and guess the quieter periods. Didn't use the gym or the spa facilities while there but both available Would happily stay at this residence again as you always felt you were in a relaxed state once you'd stepped foot into the room."
