Got there late in the evening and left at checkout time, so did not stay long but we did get excellent service for the front Desk. Travel to Mankato frequently, will stay here again

So sad we did not have a pool. That was the reason we booked it. Due to ordering through expedia we could not cancel. Disappointing that that information wasn't shared with us.

Most of the night we had a fire alarm beeping in our room every 3-5 minutes, tried calling the front desk and it would not go through on the room phone. Still had garbage around the beds on the ground. Smelled like stale smoke or dirty in the room and bathroom especially. No hot tub and smaller pool. Front desk staff was very polite when in person and breakfast was well stocked.

Disappointed.
Really just passable. Our room was not all clean. The breakfast was too awful to describe. Bed and bedding not good. So hot in the room we had to open the window.

Clean, great breakfast, close to mall!
The front desk staff is friendly and quick to check in. The pool was nice and there was barely anyone in there. The area was close to restaurants and the mall. Great breakfast selection! The room was clean, but the bathroom did have a weird smell to it. We just kept the fan on and it was fine. Overall it was a great stay!

The property is run down. There was hair on the bathroom floor when I checked in so it must not have been cleaned. The shower caulking also had mildew. Won’t book here again.

We had a great time in Mankato, we came for the Minnesota state University graduation. I also enjoyed the farmers market on Saturday morning in the parking lot in back of the hotel

I would definitely return!
The staff are all super nice! Our room was really clean and perfect for what we needed. I feel bad even mentioning these things but maybe I am pickier than others. Our bed was comfy but the sheets were super rough. Literally my flannel PJ's wore off on the rough sheets. The bath/shower had many mold spots around the seems. No biggie! I didn't touch any of them. The sink was cracked but I assume that happened since it was installed and it did not leak. The breakfast options were amazing! Super handy before heading out to a conference. Thank you!

Nice stay
Great stay, good breakfast best we have had at a hotel in a while. Got us extra blankets and couldn't find the second one so brought to room! The only complaint is the pool water/area could have been warmer.

Horrible experience!
Hotel was overbooked. Management was aware of it few days before our check in date but didn’t inform us. Upon arrival they share that news and that they have booked us at motel 6! Unacceptable service letting clients being stranded. This is despite us being Bonvoy members, too.

The room was clean and neat and I liked the layout with a king bed, couch, two TV's, and a desk area. The toilet was unusually low profile which I found weird but it worked fine. The tub shower combo is kind of old school for what's billed as a "nicer" hotel but it did have the curved shower rod for added space. Now the disappointment; the pool. This is one of the few pool areas in a hotel that I've been too that don't have a hot tub or sauna as well. That wasn't such a huge deal except the pool itself had a layer of dirt/scum on the sides at the water line. The ceiling had been patched many times which isn't that strange for the damp environment of an indoor pool but I could see all the patches and some stains were bleeding through again. There was also a leaking water fountain along one wall which didn't seem like a big deal because it was just dripping onto the tile floor and running to the drain. However on the other side of that wall in the hallway, the wallpaper had separated from the wall and was being held on by thumbtacks to at least waist high. All that said, it was a comfortable room in the right location for our weekend. If I would have been more diligent in looking at the amenities I might have chosen differently, especially for $360/night price tag. And I'm fully aware of the supply and demand situation but for $300 I expected more.
