“I only stayed here for one night so I didn’t get to know this hotel too well. I had a ticket to Machu Picchu at 6am so I arrived the day before. The lady that checked us in was very nice. “Our room was very basic but very clean. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was a little noisy at times - the walls are thin. Curiously, there was no hot water hookup to the bathroom sink (we turned on the shower if we needed hot water). Location was excellent and the included breakfast was good.”

We stayed for a night, left really early in the morning to make it in time for Machu Picchu, and returned to collect our luggage in the afternoon before our train back to Cusco (they will have breakfast ready for you in the morning and store your luggage free of charge).”

Breakfast ended at 8:00 AM which was really weird to me. Most continental breakfast that I’ve experienced in the US and about 10 o’clock. Wasn’t very helpful if we were sleeping in. Would be very helpful to have a to go breakfast for those going on an early bus to Machu Picchu.”

“The property is up of a 60 steepy wet slippy step staircase.(Dark at night time). Not recommendable at all for elderly and knee or hip issues. I was changed by the owner for a nearby hotel(1min distance) called Gringo Bills, but instead of my queen size bed bedroom(i had paid) i was given a rough single bed bedroom, the abat-jour not working, cold sink water, plus the room was next to the breakfast and reception so impossible to sleep as people go for it at 5/6am and the housekeepers started...
