"A well appointed shared kitchen, coffee machine was superb. Stunning views. We regret only staying one night. "

"Excellent check-in and good, timely communication, clean and comfortable, ideal stay, and lovely to have free coffee in the communal kitchen"

"Fantastic grand old property, in an amazing location on the Duoro River, brought to life by the very friendly staff. A private wine tasting was organised for us and was a very enjoyable experience. Elsa was great. It was raining a lot while we were there, so did not get to use the pool. The food menu could be improved. You can get here by train from Porto. Ermida station is just down the road."

"Excellent location and cleanliness. Welcoming staff."

"The house is spectacular! You truly feel like you are in a museum. The location is also beautiful but it is in the middle of nowhere so keep that in mind. The home has a game room, swimming pool, reading areas and you can also cook outdoors. The only suggestion for improvement relates to the bathrooms. These are extremely small and the showers are tiny."

"We loved our stay at this magical place! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings, very tasty breakfast, and excellent service - thank you, Ivo! We highly recommend!"

"The property is a green oasis in an urban setting. Plenty of space, overlooking the ancient City of Lamego. The hosts were super welcoming. The accommodation has lots of character."
