Awesome location with quieter town compared to SF. We had an amazing view of the water and loved coffee on our balcony as the sun rose. Convenient parking across the street, but can be full (we stayed Fri-Mon so understandable). Keep in mind the ferry service times might not accomodate early tours in SF so book tours accordingly. Staff was polite. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.

A wonderful location within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and galleries The room was spacious, equipped with a mini fridge and in room coffee. Convenient location, clean room (asked for room to be tidied up on second evening as we left for dinner as was done right away) and a charming staff at the front desk and valet station. We stayed in main complex and daughter and son-in-law stayed on the hillside in a lovely room. If you have plans to go to Sausalito make plans to stay here. Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa. For sure…and the attached restaurant, Poggio Trattoria, was outstanding,..for a meal, cocktails in the afternoon and coffee early in the morning. (Try the panini breakfast sandwich!) The bay is right across the street…a great stroll.
