“What a find in a beautiful area. Short trip off the A1 and absolutely stunning pub with rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable clean and has everything you will need for a good stay. Dinner was really tasty. Didn’t stop for breakfast but can only imagine how nice it would be. Would definitely recommend and would stay next time I am in the area ”

“Very quiet farmyard location just off High st in sleepy village. Accommodation is perfect en-suite large bedroom with a small kitchen and breakfast table for two,kettle toaster and microwave ! Emma the host is so lovely! The village has a country pub serving food (mainly Thai cuisine freshly cooked) and a mile away next village also has a lovely country pub serving more traditional food ! Neither village has a shop so take breakfast stuff with you! Supermarkets within 5 miles. If you want quiet...

“Ideally placed in the centre of Knaresborough, we were welcomed warmly. The room was lovely with a generous bathroom attached. Plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and fresh milk was kept in a small fridge. The chocolate was a nice touch alongside the complementary biscuits. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We will certainly visit again. ”

“Owners were friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious well decorated and cosy with interesting artwork. Bed linen and towels were clean and good quality. Shower cubicle is fairly small which wasn't a problem for us but I thought it worth mentioning. Parking is on street which is not busy. A permit is supplied by the owner. It is just a 5-10 minute flat walk into the town centre. We stayed for 1 night and didn't choose to have breakfast so cannot comment on that. We enjoyed our short visit...
