"An absolute gem in beautiful Ripon! The suite was perfect! Immaculately presented and quiet. The bed was supremely comfortable, with high quality bed linen! The breakfast was one of the best that I’ve ever had, and the service from Rick was impeccable. If you’re having doubts about booking, don’t! I shall certainly be back!"

"This is a beautiful hotel in a very picturesque setting. Car parking was free and plenty of spaces and a quick phone call to the owner and in you go. I was looking forward to the best carvery in Yorkshire during my stay but I stayed on a Tuesday night and I hadn't noticed the carvery only runs Thursday to Sunday, but that was an oversight on my part nothing to do with the host. Host was very welcoming and pleasant and provided me with my room key and the code to access the front door should I go outside. The room was lovely, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, a great size and an en suite shower and toilet which were also spotless. There were plenty of tea coffee sugar and milk to choose from and a couple of biscuits plus 2 bottles of water which I used to make my Yorkshire tea, lovely. Bed was fantastic, really comfortable mattress, I even sneaked a peek at what brand it was, of course it was a Hypnos. Shower was great the next morning after a wonderful peaceful sleep. Couldn't fault this place everything was great and would recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in this area."

"Nice room but outside balcony was covered in cobwebs and leaves. Couldn't find a way to turn the heating down and was way too warm in the room. Only one balcony door would open "

"What a lovely hotel, Clean hotel, Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast was very good. Other meals expensive but good. Always seen people in and out. I requested a ground floor room with a walk in shower. I had what I requested and what a lovely room. Town just down the road. Just a small walk away Free bus by the bus station to the racecourse Had a lovely day there. All in all what a great and enjoyable stay at Ripon, Thank you team "

"The cottage was beautiful, very clean with everything we needed. It was so peaceful! Hot tub was brilliant, so relaxing first thing in the morning watching the sunrise. Hosts were fantastic, great communication and really helpful. There were so many lovely places to visit in the surrounding area. Our favourites were Pately Bridge, Brimham Rocks and Stump Cross Caverns. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to everyone!"

"We went to the ripon races and this was an excellent base to go from . The cottage was gorgeous and the host gail was amazing very helpful and guided us on taxis . The nicest part was the extra touches gail put in the cottage for us prosecco biscuits all little extra things you might forget like toothbrushes very thoughtful of her .
