Hotel Le Corbusier
The Hotel Le Corbusier is an architect's paradise affording a unique experience in this vertical city. With tremendous views to the sea and the mountains, the whole block is remarkably well preserved and has retained its integrity as an experimental way of being. The hotel must be applauded for its authenticity and for trying to keep the spirit of Le Corbusier alive. Don't be put off by the hotel's eccentric service. Marseilles is a wonderful city, and we received a warm welcome everywhere else. The hotel is an idiosyncracy, charming and rude at the same time! The building is the real star attraction. The service is odd, very clipped and quite unlike what you might expect. We were told to hurry up and eat our breakfast in five minutes, despite arriving during the hours of service. We were told off for accidentally placing our one allocated croissant on the tray provided. On arrival, they told us we were early even though we only came to drop off bags. Rooms were cleaned during breakfast so it was awkward to return. Don't let the service put you off, the building is definitely worth the visit.

How can you put an opinion on our hotel, without having slept there. You never came, without telling us and we tried to join you on multiple occasions. So your opinion is a "fake" The direction

As an architect and disciple of Corbusier the opportunity to sleep in one of his masterpieces was irresistible. However, an evening meal in the restaurant was rather overpriced.

Ground breaking Corbusier building with hotel
I guess it's a "marmite" hotel, in that you either love it (or not). I found it very hard to find (in the dark). It's only on the 3rd Floor, of the overall building. The bedroom I had felt like a minimal upgrade/renovation from an original room, keeping much of the original building authentic, but this meant a shared toilet between 2 bedrooms, and overall the bedroom reminded me far more of 60s/70s University dorms than a hotel - but that's the point, it was a ground-breaking building which gave birth to such buildings. The roof top views, the overall building for 20th century concrete lovers, and even the restaurant will be loved by those loving modernism. The breakfast was pretty good but basic, but great views of the city. Unique - but not for everyone.

Cafard - nous nous sommes réveillés face à face avec un cafard. La réaction de l’hôtel a été stupéfiante : rien à faire ! Et en plus, il nous a été indiqué que parfois les insectes pouvaient être amenés directement par les clients. Voilà : c’est votre faute à vous clients !!!! Je suis sidérée ! Auprès de quel organisme faut-il signaler cette présence de nuisible pour les futurs clients et le reste de l’immeuble classé !!!!

Cher MonsieurNous vous remercions de nous avoir signalé ce problème (face à face avec un insecte de 8mm qui était sur le bureau quel combat !....) pour lequel nous avons tout mis en oeuvre afin de l'améliorer. Inutile d'alerter la copropriété puisque le problème vientde l'immeuble et non de notre hôtel. Vous avez voulur obtenir un remboursement injustifié, surtout sur des chèques vacances que vous n'avez pas payé...... Méthode somme toute curieuse....

Il est difficile de répondre à un avis anonyme afin de pouvoir corriger d'éventuelles erreurs. Ce type d'avis est juste scandaleux et ne devrait pas être accepté alors que nous avons traversé une période très difficile et malgré cela offert un service de qualité , un room service personnalisé et un accueil chaleureux...

Il ne faut pas y aller par hasard...
Il ne faut pas y aller par hasard. Nous etions une famille, arrivé de nuit et avions pas fait le rapprochement avec l'endroit car réservation au dernier moment. Sur le moment on trouve l'endroit médiocre, équipement de base, bruyant, vieillissant... Puis quand on réalise qu'on est dans l'immeuble le Corbusier on se sent finalement valorisé d'être dans ce lieu atypique et le roof top au 9e avec la vue et le bassin pour les enfants génial! Petit déjeuner simple efficace. Egalement bien placé proche Velodrome et metro à pied.

votre avis injurieux n aurait pas du etre publié.. TOUTES NOS CHAMBRES SONT CLIMATISEES et si vous aviez regardé la photo correctement sur le site vous auriez aisément vu que c est une pataugeoire pour enfant...
