Masca, Buenavista del Norte hotel rooms at the Hotasa

"We loved our stay at the hotel however one criticism i have is when we checked in the receptionist told us we could have a late checkout as we were leaving in the evening but she didn't tell us that there was a 10 euro per hour charge we thought this was very unreasonable as we had spent a lot of money during our stay "

"Excellent location , staff so friendly and willing to help. Great bars on complex for food & entertainment , staff in the bars so welcoming . Activities at pool and pool cafes were great value "

"I stayed at the The Ritz-Carlton, Abama with my husband and baby. On the second day of our trip, I contacted the concierge to request assistance with freezing our baby’s milk ice packs, and a member of staff came to our room to collect them. At checkout, we requested that the ice packs be returned to us. We were informed that someone would bring them down shortly, so we waited in our room for nearly an hour for an update that never came. Eventually, we went to reception ourselves, only to be told that nothing matching our description could be found in the freezer. A search was later conducted in the room service freezer, but the ice packs were still nowhere to be found. What made the experience even more frustrating was the dismissive attitude of the front desk staff. We were told that, according to their records and call logs, no calls had been made from our room that day, and we were even questioned about whether a staff member had actually come to collect the ice packs. The receptionist even showed us that there was no record or log of the request. I then requested that they review the CCTV footage near our room to confirm that a member of staff had indeed been sent to collect the items. At that point, the receptionist became noticeably quiet, especially as I had in fact called multiple times that day, including another request for an ice bucket. By this stage, we were already running late for our flight"

"Excellent hotel. Staff are amazing. Plenty of choice in the buffet. Particularly enjoyed The Beach Club restaurant. Pools are heated and there’s always loads of sunbeds available. Pool towels are also provided. Enjoyed the evening entertainment and bar staff always walking around ready to fetch you drinks. "

"Stunning property right on the Sea. My room overlooked the sea and was overall clean and comfortable. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly but perhaps because I didn’t pay the all inclusive package and was paying per meal/drink, I’d have to ask to be served. It would also be nice if there were staff circulating and provide service to the day bed areas. The hotel would experience more profit if that were the case. Overall, an amazing property and a great stay. I felt very safe as a solo, female traveler."

"Fantastic location of hotel. Staff were amazing with me when I arrived as was upset, they reassured me gave me a glass of fizz and even upgraded my room . Maids were good. Everyone was friendly in hotel. Mainly couples hotel . Couldn’t fault them would definately stay again given location too was great "

"Brilliant experience. Very friendly staff. Views of the ocean and location were excellent. Breakfast was scrumptious (special thanks to the chef at the omelette station) but food at other restaurants at the resort could get better (basics like burger and wrap were underwhelming) . Would definitely come again for the hospitality and the vibe."
