โThis was a last minute purchase for me, and did not disappoint. The woman and the check in desk was informative, friendly and helpful from the minute we said hello - I felt comfortable, safe and seen. The room was comfortable, and had temperature controls that worked extraordinarily well. The bed was so good that I fell asleep trying it out - yes, I stopped because I was tired. It was quiet, which paired well with my visit to the museum. Check out was online and a breeze. I definitely recommend...
โSuch a hidden gem! Loved the view and peacefulness of the property. The unit was decorated and stocked perfectly. Very spacious. My son loved seeing the train behind the property go by. Enjoyed our stay with our two young children and will return next year. โ

โEverything is "unique" about Captain Grant's!...The perfect hosts Carol and Ted; the ambience; the beautiful furnishings; the cozy room with all the amenities; the absolutely fabulous breakfast w/ mimosas, pancakes with real maple syrup and blueberry topping on a exquisitely, complete totally antique, setting table arrangement; all the available extras...beer, wine, coffee. tea, brandy in the room, etc. A most wonderful experienceโ
โThis was a great hotel for our family with 2 teens. We had 2 beds & a couch. It wasnโt fancy, but it was clean and felt comfortable. Itโs not really walkable to anything, but it was all close enough to drive in a short amount of time.โ
โThis was such a great find. The rooms are immaculate. Theyโre not fancy by any means, but you can tell they take pride in cleanliness and presentation. The front desk staff were great, and they had a nice continental breakfast. I really liked the fact that we could park at the beach and have our own private section of the beach as well by staying there. I didnโt get to use the pool, but it had a nice area and upper deck to go with it. Would absolutely recommend!โ
โStaff was great and the breakfast was pretty good. Was disappointed that the bed was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of dust/dead bugs in the lights of our room but overall good value for the money.โ
โWe had an amazing stay for a romantic weekend. We did have to lay $42 for 2 cocktails so that was a bit ridiculous but besides that everything was perfect โ
