"Toilet tank had a little trouble refilling, but that was easily fixed by adjusting the water control taps behind the toilets. Otherwise - everything perfect."

"After checking in, we headed to our room. The hallways are dark and have an ironing board and iron placed against one wall that the entire floor is expected to use. The hallways and room smelled like mothballs triggering the wife's allergies. She became short of breath. The office showed us a different room on another floor. Same issue. We forfeited the money and went around the corner to the Granite Hotel. 100 times better."

"Spacious rooms, excellent location and functionality.. Nothing spectacular, but everything avaliable and walking distance for everything. Grab to everywhere is less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended if you want to be in Georgetown "

"Gorgeous hotel and beautiful room for a very good price. Prob the best hotel on our Malaysian travels. Amazing rooftop swimming pool (with crazy see through bottom) and rooftop bar with stunning views. Downside was no breakfast available at hotel but they offered a free morning bus service into town and suggested food places for breakfast. 5 stars and would definitely recommend xx"

"Extremely glad that we chose this hotel on this trip to Penang. Room was very nice clean and with lovely sea view. All the staff especially at the club were extremely nice, warm, helpful and very friendly thus made our stay welcoming. There is one staff in particular that stands out is Mr Samson from the club lounge. Thank you. Breakfast and cocktail food and drinks were very good clean and very well presented. "

"We booked the hotel BUT got NO indication how to check in. When we arrived at the hotel and contacted with the Agent, we were told that NO ROOM was lept for us and we were told to Grab to another hotel for 2 days (which was much poor in terms of facilities, even no micro-wave oven was provided and broken bed) for checking in. We got NO effective compensation. The We rebooked this hotel two days later and checked in. In general, the housing condition is good except the excedingly TERRIBLE Internet, WHICH in effect blocks any surfing!! BTW, the Agent seems not very responsive to questions."

"We enjoy the large and clean room. Love the shower experience. We like the gym and pool facilities. The only grouse is no available dustbin to discard the rubbish outside the lift lobby and reception area. Overall, wonderful stay at Courtyard "
