"Close to the rail station. A decent sized room spoilt by having a double bed pushed against a wall, and the quilt cover being too big ( each night the actual duvet moved to the bottom of the bed - very uncomfotable. The bed needs to be away from the wall."

"Interesting experience. Enjoyed the free hot drinks, ramen, ice cream and massage chair. We didn’t realise you had to be completely naked for the onsen 😳. "

"The hotel lobby boasts a stylish, welcoming ambiance, the guest rooms are, unfortunately, quite dated and in need of new carpeting. Additionally, the location is not pedestrian-friendly, requiring a taxi for any dining, shopping, or entertainment needs."

"The spa was relaxing and a novel experience. Make sure you read up on Japanese bath customs before you decide to visit it! The staff was courteous and helpful. The Blossom restaurant is worth visiting. The breakfast buffet is delicious, but the dinner is even better. My husband could not stop raving about the phenomenal steak he ate! While in Kyoto, I would definitely stay at the Blossom."

"Nice room, but not a good view and staff was not accommodating. Breakfast, laundry, and onsen usage were all for absorbently high additional costs, not reasonable at all. "

"Rooms were kept in the best shape with all the modern conveniences you could ask for. Showers had great water pressure! Morning breakfast was wonderful with good variety of both Japanese and Western tastes. Staff were very professional and helpful. They helped when we didn't speak the best of Japanese when we stumbled over our pronunciation. There was a good mix of travelers passing through from all over. The train museum is just steps from the hotel, there's a Family Mart on the first floor and JR Train station also just steps away. It was 1 stop from Kyoto station so there is no reason to stay anywhere else with such a convenient location. "
