"On May 12 2026 my daughter and I were on a road trip. We ended up booking a room at the Microtel in Raton NM. Unknowingly the security latch was broken on the room we stayed in. At 930 am housekeeping barged in unannounced and I had to tell them to leave. This is an extreme security risk, especially for two women staying alone. When you're paying for Wyndham quality and get below Motel 8 you expect more than an I'm sorry. I have called Orbitz for two weeks trying to get this resolved, but they apparently can't get a hold of the hotel. I am asking for a refund due to the security risk we were put in."

"This place is old and rundown. It is independently owned so therefore no incentive to update anything. Very surprised that Wyndam would attach their name to a place that that is in such disarray."

"I was passing through town and just needed to sleep somewhere. This is by far the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in. The carpet was stained, the sheets were dirty, the box spring was also dirty with mystery stains, the bathroom was in poor shape with loose tiles just sitting on the toilet, the coating was coming off the toilet and the shower head was maybe 4.5 ft off the bottom of the tub. Honestly, sleeping in a car would have been better. The A/C didn’t work properly either. Please stay somewhere else if you can."
