Top Maxwell National Wildlife Refuge Hotel Reviews
Super 8 by Wyndham Raton
2/10 Terrible
"
This was the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. The place was dirty, smelled bad, and looked very old and poorly maintained. I would not recommend staying here.
We arrived at night and had reserved a room with two beds, but they only gave us one. When we showed them our confirmation, the staff told us we had to pay extra in cash for the second bed. The staff was also very rude and unhelpful throughout the entire situation.
Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience."
"Although the exterior seems a little questionable, don’t let that fool you. The staff was friendly, the room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the attached diner and that was tasty too!"
"Our room was generally clean however there was mildew in the shower. Also, the toilet was so loose that it even wobbled when we flushed the toilet. Staff was very nice and appreciative that we notified them about the toilet. There is no dropbox that we could find to place our keys when we left as the office was not open at 6:50am."
"The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size with comfortable beds and was clean. A great free breakfast is included with friendly restaurant staff! Would not hesitate to stay again."
