"I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. I’d stay here again. It is a great value in a beautiful location. The virtual front desk was a new concept for me but worked out perfectly for my very late arrival. "

"Room was clean, comfortable and very nice. Views of the bay were beautiful!!! Restaurant service and food were excellent! Only negative of the stay was the temperature in the room was a bit warm and thermostat didn't appear alter that state. We countered by sleeping with the window open and problem solved! Beautiful room and stay!"
"Heaven in Anchorage. We walked in and it was like family welcoming us home. It is a beautiful home, lovely thoughtful details throughout all the guest areas — tea waiting, inviting fireplace, comfortable beds, well lit, beautiful rooms and lovely breakfasts in the great room — and friendly owners who want to make sure you have everything you might need. This is a lovely place to rest and come back to, we can’t wait to visit again. Can’t recommend this highly enough!"
"Staff are nice and helpful, but that's where the good things stop.
Do NOT stay here if you have children or are a female.
The main issue is safety.
- There are a lot of drugged-out people and homeless around the property.
- Don't expect to sleep until around 1-2am until the police show up and kick out the domestic that's happening beside you.
- The rooms are a bit dirty and are run down (live electrical wires, peeling bathtub, holes in the furniture)"

"While the staff was kind - this was by a long shot the dirtiest hotel we’ve stayed in . We were incredibly surprised given the pictures . In our room we also found a used syringe - which was a first for us."
"Exceptional hotel with outstanding staff. The visit to the Nordic spa was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend both! We also had the breakfast buffet at Forte and a late dinner at the a bar, both very good."
"The staff were very nice and accommodating. The shuttle drivers were great.
The hotel was clean and the room was sufficient, a tad outdated. It appeared they were doing some upgrades. My room had new carpeting and updated furniture, but the walls were bare. It appeared they were working on it one thing at a time. The breakfast was very basic; decent eggs and sausages, plenty of seating.
It’s right next to the Alaska Railroad station.
Some restaurants are close; ask the shuttle to take you up the hill, easier walk back is downhill."
"There were no staff on site at all, they give you all the information by email, nearly all the guests said they struggled with the keycode doors while I was there, otherwise it is a lovely little hotel"
"Great location in relation to the airport. But, we walked into the first room and there was water dripping onto the floor from ceiling vent. Went and advised the desk and they changed the room. The next room had a beautiful view of the cinderblock wall of an adjacent building. Opened the window and it would not close again."
