"Finding myself on my own for the holidays, I decided to make a short trip to Mendocino, and area that I love. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and stayed for two days. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I was pleased to have a fireplace, sitting area, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The receptionist at the front (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly helpful in advising me which places would hold Christmas Eve services, and made sure I had anything I needed. "Everything looked brand-new at this hotel! I stayed with my husband, son and his wife. My son travels often on business and said the condition, decor and amenities compare with many more expensive hotels he has stayed in. Very clean, nice linens, makeup mirror in bathroom, comfortable bed--all great. We did not use the indoor pool or spa due to time constraints; however, it looked clean and inviting. Definitely will stay here again when I travel to Fort Bragg, CA!"

"The hotel ground was very nice and serene. A lot of walking trails to walk around. Our room was secluded and quiet. It was facing the ocean and we had a balcony where we could hang out and watch the sunset. The minor things were that the table in our room was not properly cleaned when we arrived and the heater took some time to heat up the room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. "
