"The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city, relatively close to several interesting places. We were surprised by the size of the room. It was tiny. We reserved an accesible room with an additional sofa-bed thinking that without using it, it'll be more spacious but it was completely opposite. With our luggage and a round table it was almost impossible to move around. The room cleaning was superficial. Breakfast was good and the parking is paid by the hour."

"This is the first time I have stayed at a Staycity hotel, but I will definitely be seeking them out in future travels. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was clean with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. The location was great for walking around Bordeaux and accessing transit. My only complaint is that the kitchenette sink is tiny and it’s difficult to wash all the provided dishes in there/ have somewhere for them to dry, but I did appreciate having so many amenities in my room. Would highly recommend and absolutely stay here again!"

"An ok stay. The amenities in the foyer are great, really sets you up for a good stay and looking forward to your room. However the room amenities are so basic. Two plugs in the room. Half a cup of tea or coffee available (no milk). Tiny pillows, with only one spare. Worst of all no Fridge in 30 degree heat. Just a little note stating you can have one on request one, which I did, only to be told they don't have any. Location is good, staff are good. Room itself let's it down."

"We arrived late, however for the entire time we didn’t receive the parking QR code. Turned out to be the staff wrote down my email wrong (mess up with my last name). Do we had to pay 75 Euros extra for the parking plus 40 minutes extra to find the parking garage. After 8 hours driving and mid night, it was a bummer. Then the room sheets were smelling from something. The bathroom floor was dirty, the bathroom door handle was falling off and during our entire stay, no one seemed to care about it. For entire 3 days stay, we only got 1 bottle of water on day one. So I cannot give any positive feedback unfortunately."

"- Staff very helpful and pleasant. - Reception very clean but the corridors are just ok... - one of the ugliest area of Bordeaux but close to everything. - No clock in bedroom. - No nightlight. - Hair dryer has no ground pin and cannot be used in washroom. - Lots of mold between the bath and the wall insert. - Good paper tissues and toilet paper. - Way too expensive at regular price."

"Located near the center city, Hotel Burdigala provides a quiet refuge from Bordeaux site seeing. Some of the front desk staff were helpful during our three day stay and the restaurant staff proved unfailingly pleasant. The hotel gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and served delicious breakfasts and nice afternoon light food at the bar when needed. From there it was an easy walk to a tram to visit city sites. Excellent room maintenance. My advice would be to avoid a room with a flat corner shower with no enclosure in the bathroom, since morning showers sent water pretty much all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom was spacious but lacked any kind of storage cabinet or small stand to hold toiletries. We enjoyed our stay there."
