What's nearby

  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

This is a very minimal condo near Little Havana. The host was friendly and accommodating. Studio decor could be improved and this neighborhood is very noisy.

A good stay

Excellent apartment. Area is good, safe and very quiet. A supermarket is in walking distance. Rapid response for the owner on any questions. Only one thing is needed: a safe box to be perfect.

This is a good spot if you are a solo traveler on a budget , the place was clean but you are staying in the hood but I had no issues coming and going.

Moved location days before our check-in

I had initially booked a room by the Calle 8 location but 5 days before they switched our reservation to another location. The new location was ideal with free parking. Bed & sofa bed were uncomfortable, limited hangers in closet & no place to store clothes; no dressers. Only one towel per person. I asked for two extra towels & a blanket but they weren't available until the following day. By then, I had already purchased new ones at Target.

Extreme value! Great location. Decently equipped. Couple minor gripes but no stars deducted- induction stove can’t boil water. Even after an hour of trying both burners. The dryer either melted/burned part of our load or had something melted/burned before we added our load. Be cautious but even with those minor gripes I’d say 5*
