“Very nice and clean place. Charming decor and room setup. Indicative of staying in a barn, there were a lot of wood floors and ceilings. Noise from elsewhere in the barn traveled. Some neighbors were more quiet than others. But by 10pm (the requested noise cutoff), it was a lot better, with no problems sleeping. The beds were quite comfortable. GPS was off by one lot, but the signage made the Yellow Barn standout from the street.”

“The best vacation ever. Location is everything. Just a slice of heaven on earth. We will never top this stay. Tried to book a reservation before we left. Will return as often as possible.”

“To be fair, we stayed during a Nor'easter that caused a lot of tree and debris issues on the property. That meant any amenities were not existent. The room (a three bedroom cabin) was clean enough, but the bath tub had rust in it and we also had to ask for a bulb for one of the bathroom light fixtures and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. The paint in the bathroom was peeling as a result. There were also no screens in the windows, so keeping a window open was out of the question. ...

“The place is super clean and the manager is so friendly! I only put a 4 for the amenities because the vent in our bathroom really doesn’t dry the moisture unless we leave the door open. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Bathroom door mirror and toilet have not been cleaned in a very long time. Front door looks like it has been kicked open many times. Bartender in restaurant was surly and inattentive. Ended up getting dinner at hot dog joint down the street.”

“The check in process was different as in we had to call to check in. There is no front desk like most hotels. Now that I know that I would stay there again. Room was clean. A peaceful and friendly environment and very close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.”

“Staff was very nice and helpful The room was nice and quiet and close to stores and restaurants”

“My room was very big and location excellent”

“Staff were very friendly and very quick to help. Spacious convenient parking. Breakfast was limited. Very clean room.”
