"Overall enjoyed the stay. Would recommend a king size bed in the upstairs master bedroom, a new bed in the main level master, and a bed be put in the basement bedroom instead of a futon. The water pressure for flushing toilets was not good and there was a sewage smell coming out of the hot tub drain. Parking was a little precarious and dangerous backing up and turning around on a hillside, also getting into the driveway was difficult even will 4wD we were spinning tires."

If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. "The staff has been very nice also very accommodating . Our room was clean . We were thinking of staying long term while I do an assignment at a local hospital however policy is you move to second floor . I am not to keen on second floor move the floor is not as nice as first floor . It is dark and gloomy and the room we were going to be placed in smelled like cigarettes badly and working in healthcare I was afraid my belongings would also become smelly. They are renovating so hopefully in time the second floor will also be just as nice as the first floor. Indoor pool is not open either . This was also a disappointment. "
