While there are a few areas currently undergoing transitions, the hotel served its purpose well and offered a solid stay for the price point. ​ ​The rooms and some of the amenities felt a bit dated, but everything was functional and clean. It’s clear the hotel is working on improvements, as parts of the building appeared to be under construction. This led to a unique setup for the gym, which was located in a hallway area, and unfortunately, the guest laundry was unavailable during our stay. However, given the competitive rates, these minor inconveniences didn't detract much from the overall value. ​ ​The breakfast was a highlight and provided a great start to our mornings. The spread included: ​Scrambled eggs and sausage links ​A "make-your-own" waffle station ​Various continental items (pastries, cereal, etc.) ​Regarding the staff, the atmosphere was somewhat transactional rather than warm. We noticed that when we spoke or said "good morning," we didn't typically get a verbal reply. That being said, they were perfectly professional when it came to our specific needs—they replied to and fulfilled our requests promptly, so we had no actual service issues. ​ ​If you are looking for a functional, well-priced spot for a quick trip, this is a good choice. Despite the construction and the quiet staff, it was a good stay for our weekend visit and worth the cost."
