"Great communication before stay, luggage room very helpful since we arrived early but didn’t need early check-in, ditto after checkout. My adult son and I had an event at which luggage would have been inconvenient. Restaurant and fitness room excellent as well. Top notch from before we got there until after we left."

"Well, checking in was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. I’ve stayed at the 4 seasons and the Motel 6. Advice is do the ID screening with plenty of time ahead, but also do not worry if you are not given immediate check in instructions. There is a person on duty at all times who can help you. ……but, the next day the manager was over the top, completely took responsibility and alleviated my concerns. The location and hotel are 10/10 perfect, clean and spacious, the bed is located away from the window and the deep cement walls give quiet and privacy right in downtown Minneapolis. I walked everywhere, light breakfast and complimentary coffee/snacks and sodas. Staff was helpful and friendly."

"The Wifi is the worst we've ever encountered and it has always been bad at the Normandy. I also don't appreciate a little lotion bottle with a tiny opening that is impossible to dispense any lotion. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this charming, old world inn."
