Snow Goose Migration. DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge is a fantastic location that has great viewing locations to include a glass enclosed, wheel-chair friendly viewing location right on the water. Easy to access, it is just about 5 miles off I-29. Expect Spring migration in mid-April...I was about a week late from the really massive flocks.
This cute tiny 50s style diner is tucked just off the interstate behind some fast food and a gas station. Much better dinner option than McDonalds!

The noise was horrible from the street traffic even with the complimentary ear plugs, The pool is really small. There wasn’t many options for breakfast. Although the staff was always friendly and top tier, for the price it just wouldn’t be worth it for my family to stay here again in the future.
