Tokyu Stay Hakata

"Room was very clean. Room cleaning options are very good. We chose the towel and rubbish exchange, no entry. We like Tokyu Stay because of the washer/dryer in the room; it's very convenient to do laundry at night. Staff was very helpful, especially when we had a problem with the washer. Amenities they offer are very nice. This Tokyu Stay had a water dispenser in the lobby and complimentary juice and coffee in the evening. Location is about a 10 minute walk from Hakata station. It was a bit of a challenge maneuvering the streets with luggage in tow. On the day of departure, we caught a taxi to Fukuoka airport, much easier. Front desk can call a taxi for you. Without luggage, walking to Hakata station to eat or shop is not a problem."

"I had an executive room. I found it to be rather spacious for Japanese standards. There was a large jacuzzi in the bathroom, which was also very spacious. The bed was comfortable snd the property was clean. The breakfast was modest. There was a free drop off shuttle from the hotel to the airport in the morning. The ride only takes 7 minutes."

"As several other reviews have stated, this property is very dirty. It seems they do not take proper cleaning into consideration for their guests. The shower was filthy, with what appeared to be black mold around the bottom edges and on the shower door (which didnt close properly by the way). The bathroom sink was uncleaned, there were several stains on the wall, and the area by the fridge wasn’t clean either. For the price of the property, it wasn’t nearly worth it except for the size."

"Really convenient spot. Walking distance from Hakata station. They have a spot to leave your luggage after check out if you’re still exploring the area. Breakfast was decent. I didn’t use the public bath that was available but it seemed quite popular with other guests. Laundry facility was good. All in all great. Would recommend staying here."

"This was an unmanned apartment, which I understood, so I could arrange some things myself. However, for those who are not tech-savvy or elderly, it might not be very suitable. I found the lack of luggage assistance inconvenient. Also, we requested three beds for three people when booking, but on arrival, there were only two beds. With one male in our group, the lack of follow-up was very inconvenient."
