"This hotel is a very old building which is still keeping a lot of the old culture even after it has obviously been remodeled and renovated. Rooms are clean, washrooms as well. Breakfast is delicious with freshly baked croissants, waffles, eggs and of course a variety of cheese and cold cuts. It is a few minutes away from the beaches and the restaurants and market in old Nice. Definitely a place to consider staying in."

"Our stay in Nice was wonderful thanks to the staff at the Westminster! We were able to leave our luggage and explore Old Town while the room was being prepared. The front desk employees were so helpful with information about getting around as well as getting back to the airport. Will definitely stay at the Westminster if we ever return to Nice."

"I recently stayed at the Hotel Mercure Nice Promenade and had a mixed experience. On one hand, the hotel itself is wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Nice, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern, providing a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, our first impression was ruined by a very rude check-in experience with one receptionist. She struggled to find our reservation, eventually finding it under my first name instead of my last name. She then insisted that the room had not been paid for. When I tried to show her my booking confirmation number and payment receipts, she completely dismissed my attempts. Once she finally handed over the keys, she never went over hotel amenities, breakfast hours and location or any other guest services. Aside from this initial encounter, all other hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout the rest of our stay. While the property and the rest of the team are excellent, the frontline customer service during check-in needs serious improvement."
