Gorgeous place with friendly staff and a fine restaurant. The chef is great. Beautiful views of the city. It’s in a wealthy neighborhood, with many fine properties and a lot of dining options. I wish I had stayed longer!

Room with king bed was spacious. Restroom had huge counter which i liked, can place my hygiene products, etc. Towel hanger was too far from tub. Huge step down to get out of shower. Loved 3 free water bottles, daily. All staff were professional and friendly.

As someone who visited Mexico for the first time, I throughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I spoke very little Spanish but I had no issues communicating with staff about needing things such as room service and accommodation. I loved how quiet and serene the location was. Room service and the restaurant had very good food. Only issue was that the power went out for about 30 minutes but came back quickly. Also had spotty WiFi during my stay but i was able to get some decent signal. Overall I recommend this place as someone who is staying in Morelia for the first time!

It is indeed a great hotel. But it does need a profound renovation in all areas. The pool is unavailable and so the tennis court. Nobody made me aware of this before and during booking not to mention at check-in. The staff is great! I will think twice before coming back again. So sorry for this wondeful hotel.

Really nice hotel

We were at Villa Montaña in mid November for a family reunion. Great weather! The hotel grounds and rooms were beautiful. We were a large group of family members, about 15. Everyone’s room was really rustic looking and nice. Only one room ended up with what looked like droppings on the bathroom counter one night but we informed the front desk and they immediately switched out the room for us. It ended up being nicer than the first! The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good especially since most times my family ordered the breakfast that was included which was filling and tasty. Since my wife is vegan, they were willing to prepare her food as requested, without meat or cheese or added oils. She was happy and it made things easier for her. Wish I’d taken more pictures. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it. We would stay again.
