“Maybe we got one of the dirtiest rooms in the hotel. The first thing we noticed was the office style chair that was a mess. The vinyl was peeling away from the back and the seat. Then we noticed the terribly stained floor. Then when we wanted to watch tv we couldn’t find the typical channels we like so we called the front desk. “Staff were very excellent, no elevator in this 3 floor property so definitely not ADA. Room was great on 3rd floor but sink handle fell off in my hand. Refrigerator freezer door also came off. Staff very receptive to get maintenance on these issues. Nice view of U of I campus, quiet, safe, near gas station and main drag of town. Comfortable, clean room. Very nice breakfast included.”
