"To be fair, I have been here plenty of times and this is my 1st bad experience. Excalibur is my go to casino when I travel to LV.
I checked in via app, room said I was ready, started to come back from the strip at 3:30pm, I couldn’t retrieve my room key on the kiosk: refer to front desk.
While waiting flat front desk, the timely time spent to move the line took almost 30-45 mins for only a few people in line. No urgency or new people not trained, more kiosk than personal engagement with staff and it takes longer to resolve problems from the past.
Went to front desk, and I gave them my room number and they said, “weird, why did it give you that room number, it was already given away”. Whatever, they gave me a new room, same tower, same king bed. No biggie, when I get to the room, pillow cases are on the tv stand, pillows tossed on the bed sloppy and one on the floor. *I had to put the pillow cases on myself” ok no biggie but again just poor experience. Nothing major but this is just an honest review.
Last but not least, I got stuck at the gate to leave after check out. My card had paid parking but the ticket didn’t register and my card didn’t allow me to open the gate and I wasn’t about to pay another fee that I already paid for. So I held up the line to leave, had to call the gate box, no answer for LONG period of time, finally someone answers after several cars had to back up to use another lane. Room number was given over the speak box and finally it opens. 👎"
