"The breakfast was the best we have ever had. Perfect! Luxurious. Amazing. We also both had massages at the hotel which were reasonably priced and very skilled. Thoroughly enjoyable. Drinking water was freely dispensed. Every one of the Staff were engaging, friendly and wonderful. Location was great to walk to night market. We will return again! "Friendly and helpful staff. Big rooms with a great view from the balcony in our river view room. Excellent location for the many bars and restaurants in the old town and on the island."

"Good location near Old Town. Most of the staff were friendly, especially the manager. The hotel operates on a shoestring, and some things are either broken or on its last legs, like the shower head, TV, etc. Towels are old and wifi isn't uniformly strong everywhere in the property. Overall, a good value for money and I would have given it 4 stars if not for this: There's a police station right behind the hotel and its loudspeaker blared propaganda urging citizens to vote. On Friday, it went on all day, and on Sunday morning, it started at 5am!! Complaints to the authorities have fallen on deaf ears, I was told. Well, if the govt wants to promote tourism, they're actually driving us away by ignoring both the needs of the tourists for rest and private businesses, who rely on good word of mouth. Hence, my two-star rating. Not really fair to the hotel, I know, but really a message to the Vietnamese govt. "

"The stay was okay. The staff were understanding after explaining to them of an extra person during our stay - was a few extra charges. A few of the items in the room are set out for purchase, so look through things before using it."

"I had a lovely stay here. They were very kind and allowed an early check-in as I was unwell. Breakfast buffet has so many options and the Rice Bistro had a great selection of Vietnamese and Western food, very helpful when you are unwell. Also, had a manicure in the Spa and they were professional and did a fantastic job. Would definitely return."
