Only option now a combo option. Have to pay for stuff we didn’t have any interest in. We used to LOVE going here but now it’s just ridiculously expensive. Very disappointing.

Very interesting and enjoyable for the price. We went to during the Firefly nights, be sure you arrive in time to do everything, museums and other features close at 6 pm. I would suggest arrive by at least 2 pm. They serve snacks but not really dinner, you might stop before or bring your own.

When people visit Boone or any of its surrounding areas "artsy" comes to mind. This image resembles the area perfectly. From the front, this man is smiling while concentrating on his painting. Art is a huge part of the Appalachia culture. The town is full of color from spray paint on walls to artsy shops at every corner. It embodies many of the values a lot of people in the town encompass such as happiness, craft fulness, and resourcefulness.
