We had close-up, personal encounters with monkeys that literally climbed onto our balcony—an experience you’ll never forget and one that perfectly captures how connected this resort is to its natural surroundings. The monkeys are harmless and fascinating to watch… just don’t leave your glass door open 😉. Parador strikes the perfect balance between luxury and nature. "The property is BEAUTIFUL. Friendly staff. For the basic rate you have your own private cottage. Great price. Centrally located to most attractions. There are large gaps in the doors and windows and you are in a tropical setting, so creepy crawlers can get in. It is important to know there are no TVs in these rooms and no refrigerators, but they were able to upgrade me to have same for an additional fee. Free classes (yoga, etc) you can register for and free breakfast at restaurant in hotel...not bad! Also has vegan options. "
