“The tents are a great way to experience the wonderful nature while still enjoying many amenities. Having a private bathroom with warm water and a fully equipped outside kitchen (incl. gas, fridge and running water) was very comfortable. The fireplace (wood available at reception for reasonable price) and bbq facility were the highlight of each day, only exceeded by being woken up by a herd of oryx around the tent in the middle of the night.”

“We were there in February (Namibian summer) so it was hot in the tent during the day, and the huge water-filled cooling thingy (don't know what it's called) didn't help at all, if anything it made the tent hotter not to mention the noise it made. We decided to just open the windows and through in the warm breeze. It was better once the sun had gone down. Otherwise it was a great stay. Staff were nice and friendly and we enjoyed the sundowner game drive.”

“Wir waren rundum zufrieden, toller individueller sehr freundlicher Service. (Unser Auto wurde sogar gewaschen und das war nach 2,5 Wochen campen sehr, sehr dreckig) Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht vor Ort und wären gerne länger geblieben um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Herausragend aber ist die Küche. Ein wunderbares 3 Gänge Menü für alle Gäste gemeinsam am langen Tisch serviert. Da kommt man gut ins Gespräch, Tee und Kaffee wird danach am Feuer serviert. Wir kommen wieder! ”

“Die Berglandschaft ist sehr schön. Die Zelte überhitzen sich in der Sonne sehr stark. Die Terassenüberdachung ist sehr kurz. Man findet keinen Schatten. Ein Kühlschrank oder eine Minibar ist nicht vorhanden. Die Außenplätze des Restaurants haben ebenfalls keinen Schatten. Die Möglichkeiten der Aktivitäten beschränken sich auf einen Sunrise Drive oder einen Sundowner. Der vorhandene Pool ist sehr stark gechlort. Ein mehrtägiger Aufenthalt empfiehlt sich nicht.”

“Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though.
