"I had booked and paid through Hotels.com. But that was not accepted at check-in, and I had to pay once more. I have reached out to both the hotel and hotels.com, but neither will refund the double payment"
"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
"Ideal if you arrive in the UK late or are leaving the next morning. Entrance to room via a code given before arrival. Room very basic, but even my wife (who often complains about rooms being too small or uncomfortable) thought this a nice local hotel to stay. Pub below is a nice place to have dinner/breakfast. Personnel very friendly. We’ll go there again in the future"
"Very convenient, clean and comfortable. Walls a little thin -could hear the neighbours coughing, However the beds were spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was good too. Breakfast was ok and staff very friendly and helpful. "

"Gary and the staff provided great service and made our stay memorable."
"Friendly staff.. The room we stayed in smelt of damp.. there was a pot hole in the bathroom from where something has been leaking which was probably also accountable for the smell.. the noise was due to how close the cars are parked to the hotel. There seemed to be people coming and going/ arguing with each other every 30 mins. Due to the unusually warm weather the window had to be open so this was unavoidable. "
"What an amazing place! The decor was beautiful and everything was so clean. My room was lovely and felt very comfortable, and the great location made exploring easy. I was also impressed by how fully stocked and spotless the kitchen was. Alex was a wonderful host who made me feel so welcome."
