“Matthias and Emilie were very gracious hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful animals were immediately our friends. We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. “Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.”
