“Beautiful views, but disappointing for the price
I stayed at The Terraces for two nights of a planned five-night stay, paying approximately $260 per night including taxes. I was disappointed enough to leave early, forfeiting payment for three unused nights.
The property has beautiful mountain views, lovely landscaping, and amenities including a heated pool and yoga. However, much of the hotel feels dated, worn, and inadequately maintained.
I encountered issues including a bathroom leak, noisy...

“The service at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu was terrible.
We went to the lounge dressed simply because we wanted to stay at the hotel comfortably.
While our group was eating refreshments in the lounge, the manager came and asked about the room.
We looked at the manager to see if he could also check other people's needs, but he only asked us.
Maybe it was because we're Asian dressed in rags.
We were deeply offended by this.
The attitude of the staff was also unfriendly, ruining the end of...

“I would recommend a brief stay to those who are interesting in relaxing on hotel property. Seems a bit confined/restrictive for those desiring more independent activities outside the property.
Pros: Hotel facilities, scenery, delicious breakfast
Cons: Hotel didn't seem to have the booking from Orbitz--especially stressful when you're traveling to foreign region with young children. Hotel up-charged for credit card usage at front desk despite Orbitz guaranteed rate; in fact, I later...
