“짐이 많았는데 엘리베이터가 없어 고생했네요 아주 오래된 호텔 이라 그런지 찬정도 얕고 레스트랑 음식도 그렇습니다 ”

“Needed a last minute stay and found an absolute gem with this place. It has just been taken over and they have made a great job of the renovation. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and great shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice and quiet on a night even though it faces the main road. Two minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Fantastic overnight stay. Would 100% recommend. Good luck to the new owners.”

“Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. “Well presented hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. My only negative was how far away from reception my room was as when I got back to room to find no milk to have a hot drink before bed and didn’t fancy the long walk back to reception”

“Great location although parking restricted to road”

“The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos.”

“Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend”

“Good dinner and wine list, great breakfast offerings, room spacious and nice views…. Charming country hotel. Would stay again”

“가족 여행에 아주 잘 지내고 가요”

“An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return.”

“에어컨 작동이 안됨. 방에 전화기가없어서 리셉션에 찾아가야함 3번이상 찾아가도 대충설명만해줌. 여러차례다시가서 안된다고함. 직접와도 안되니 원래그런거라고함. 제인생최악의방”

“Lovely hotel! Was little chilly when we first came in but soon get used to it! ”

“Great location, lots of parking and well priced.”
