“Lawn mowing 7:00 AM. Shower curtain - only one panel crammed on a rod through the holes that were meant for curtain rings. The curtain was not wide enough to conceal the tub opening. Hot water was intermittent. Overhead ceiling fan/light fixture turned on and off randomly. Had to take the remote to bed with me. I had to parade through the bowels of the place to get to my room-open storage areas, restaurant staging areas, etc.”

“We enjoyed staying in this “haunted” 1772 inn, so much more interesting than a chain. But old inns come with smaller rooms, steep steps and no-elevators. Our room had been recently redecorated, pretty and comfortable. We did hear a child crying around midnight, thought it could be a ghost, but probably was the young family in the next room. :)”
