Lamothe House was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location! It was a short walk to the French quarter but it felt like you lived in your own neighborhood among the locals. Felt like staying in a time capsule with excellent staff, a beautiful courtyard and kind helpful staff.

Clean facility with 24 hour front desk person. We stayed in the room in the main house which was decorated with period furniture. There was more outsidr noise as the room was facing Esplanade and there were Mardi Gras celebrations. The location was good in relation to resturants and entertainment on Frenchman St. They have a beautiful pool and courtyard. Staff was attentive to our needs.

This is an historic inn in a great location: an easy walk to many French Quarter and Marigny locations. We stayed in one of the lovely, spacious "old" rooms with high ceilings, hardwood floors, two (nonworking) fireplaces, and a modern bathroom. The courtyard, with pool, is beautifully landscaped and a delightful place to sit and relax outside. Staff were efficient, helpful, and just wonderful.
