First of all, I am a person who always looks at the 'glass half full' and I am very unlikely to write a mediocre or poor review; however, I feel that it is important to note that during a stay in January 2024, I returned to the room after an evening out in the city and noted that the heater in the room did not work -- would not even turn on -- it was in the 20s that evening in NYC. There were no other rooms available for the night and when I mentioned the heating problem to the front desk staff the next morning I was informed that other rooms were also without heat. Needless to say, the room was very chilly that night and sleeping was not comfortable. We were able to be moved to a different room the next night; however, these are things, in my opinion, that a property needs to place at high priority as customers are paying premium prices and being warm should not be an 'option' but a requirement. I hope the property will understand that an acceptable product is required for a price charged. Thank you.
