"Our stay was lovely and restful. We were in room 11 which has a double aspect. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable. Shower hot. Decorated nicely. The only downside was no TV as sky was down. "This was an impromptu stay as we had a power cut and needed to have guaranteed access to wifi in the morning. "The room is totally updated and huge. We had to use an oscillating fan to sleep because these old, historic hotels don’t have the infrastructure for air handling and the duvet/no separate top sheet made it warm. Gorgeous room."
