“The place was great. The only thing was the shower. The shower was great but there is no place to put you change of clothes while showering. There needs to be more, larger hooks.”

“Big room, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Convenient breakfast already in our room when we arrived. It was a little tricky finding the right place to park on our first day but the owner directed us and we had no problem after that. Very convenient for visiting Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Old Sarum by car. Ate dinner on the same street at the George Hotel.”

“The room was a good size and comfortable. We are there in the evening. Food was cooked well. We enquired what time breakfast was and where we ate. We were told between 9-11am downstairs in bar restaurant. We went downstairs at 9-15 am only to find the place deserted!! Absolutely no one to be found. Apparently our breakfast was a bunch of bananas, some apples, cereal bar and a pot if granola in a small fridge left on the landing. No milk!! On Expedia it stated breakfast was included with photos...

“If you’re looking for the cutest true English village this is it!!! Very remote, but fantastic, had a wonderful dinner, and cocktails. The staff, were wonderful, from the young bartender, waiter at dinner, but the women that served breakfast was just the kindness and interesting, l could chat with her for hours. Book this place! Stayed before a cruise”

“Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location.”

“One word - avoid. What ypu see in the description and in reviews is NOT what you get. The room was facing the main road and the constant, non-stop noise was unbearable. The breakfast was horrible. £12.50 extra for 1x burnt bacon, uncooked hash brown and a pathetic looking uncooked sausage. Plus a fried egg complete with a hair. The 'chef' needs sone training on how to actually cook food properly. Poor quality, cheap orange juice and bread that hadnt been fresh for a few days. The staff were...
