“The Mountainaire is a throwback to the 50’s. Its quaint log cabin feel is cozy. The rocking chairs on the porch were welcoming and we made use of them to visit with other guests. The rooms are small but that was expected. The bed was comfortable.”

The plug in the bathroom did not work at all, and therefore, I had no way to do my hair in the morning since there was no other mirror in the room. The price seemed very high for the room. We have been traveling all week and staying at various places along the Blue Ridge mountains, and we can surely say this was the worst of all.”

“We have stayed here multiple times and it is always clean, well maintained and the staff makes sure we have what we need. Plus we like the convenience of a kitchen and washer/dryer and the proximity to town. It's our favorite and place and hopefully we will be back again soon.”
