We chose this property based solely on the price and the location—because you can’t beat the location!
With that being said, we did not receive any type of communication until THE DAY OF check-in. Which for people coming from out of town, that leaves you worried about the legitimacy of the reservation. We finally got a text message to confirm reservation and to submit my credit card information and send a picture of my ID.
No problem—that all went smoothly.
But they won’t give you the door codes to the property until RIGHT AT check-in which is 4pm and that’s a pretty late check-in.
The property was easy to find and we easily found a parking spot too since it was not overly busy that day. Once inside the room we could tell it was cleaned well, which is a great thing! Beyond the cleanliness, the room is so lack luster. Do not expect much from this room. Although it is listed as a “hotel” they do not have normal amenities that a hotel regularly provides. Example: No coffee maker or coffee, No set of drinking glasses, only a few mismatched plates, mugs, silverware, No toilet paper holder, No place to hang your wet towels, No A/C, No Heat but a small electric fireplace with a blower, and No spare pillows. I’m sure we could have asked for things along the way, but usually all of these things are NORMAL to have provided from the get go. Plus, you can hear everything through the walls, all of the stomping above, and the patio is shared so our ocean view was a little awkward.
