Kia Orana Brian, thanks for your review. Our favourite restaurants and cafes are 3-4 km in either direction however a scooter is a great option to really explore the island at as little as $15 /day.

We have a duty manager(the owner) and housekeeper on site 7 days, 8am-12pm and your cellphone provided in your room has our 24 hour manager's contact for any queries you may have. Being a small property we limit our office hours to standard "business hours" and provide all guests with a local cellphone with a 24 hour on call duty manager number. We are located offsite 2 minutes away so we will happily assist whenever required by our guests. For all after hours arrivals, we strongly recommend using our airport transfer service which doubles as your check in service. We do understand that you may have wanted to cater for yourself being longer stay guests however, as part of our commitment to supporting our local community we encourage our guests to enjoy all the culinary delights our island has to offer. A fridge is in all rooms so some snacks/cold food may be stored easily by guests. We take note of your concern regarding the signage. Whilst we do have a sign at our entrance, in order to retain guests privacy we have opted against signs on the main road at this stage. As we collect more feedback from guests we may review this decision so we thank you for the feedback. We do strongly recommend all guests take advantage of our transfer service to ensure your arrival is as stress-free as possible as we can be tricky to find first time round. Once again, we thank you for supporting our vision for a more sustainable, authentic Cook Islands holiday. We look forward to seeing you back here in paradise soon! As you pointed out, unfortunately, WIFI on island is fantastic sometimes and at times can simply 'drop out' without warning.
