"We liked the building and the situation near the Elbe. Also the big room and the Festsaal. Diner and breakfest was very good. . Nice people. Every thing was fine. "

"There is simply nowhere else like this to stay!
Whilst in Hamburg seeing friends, we thought why stay somewhere ordinary, when we can stay in this uniquely historic monument that has been brilliantly converted into a really cool hotel!
Super comfy & well designed room (we went with a King bed suite), with a really great shower!
Don't expect the Hard Rock Cafe to be here, as I did (my only disappointment). The history of the place is fascinating and the rooftop views are worth the stairs! Reception's great. Found the staff in the top restaurant to be somewhat disinterested & a bit stuffy. Definitely more friendly, fun & funky in the bar down by the reception.
Great local foods market & the very lively Reeperbahn on the doorstep!"
