There was no one there for over 20 minutes. Sign on desk for a number to call, no answer. He finally showed up. The room was clean enough. Beds comfortable. Shower curtain smelled musty/sour. Breakfast was fine and on time. Probably would not stay here again.

Hidden gem of Norfolk

I stay here every time I come to Norfolk if they have a room. The upkeep of the property is amazing and always feels fresh and clean in many visits over a ten year period.

Great modern budget motel

The 1 queen room was not small. It was clean and comfortable and very well furnished, but it did have a small bathroom. No luggage cart but the owner’s son personally directed us to a room with an outside door for easy access. The family that manages this place takes pride in it.

Overall it was a good stay. Nice and friendly staff. Everything was clean. Room overall was nice. Breakfast ear was clean with standard continental breakfast offerings. Pool is permanently closed and no coffee in the room but there was coffee in the breakfast area.

Had trouble with dryer and they let us use industrial dryer and were immediately repairing customer dryer. Service oriented people.

Property very outdated. Everything looked old. Parking lot in very rough shape. Holes in shower wall covered with black tape. Shower head hung for the height of a child. Small TV. Staff was very nice.

The person who was in charge and checked me into the room was amazing. He made sure we knew the rules and asked if we needed anything. The hotel was clean and quiet. One of the better stays in norfolk for sure.

This is not a fancy hotel. However, it was very clean, well kept and the staff was friendly to us. We requested an early check-in so we could prepare for a 3:00 wedding. They were very nice about making that change for us. We would gladly stay there again.
